Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Frames by Marina (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through framesbymarina.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Frames by Marina is an independent fine art photography business selling prints of original travel photography through framesbymarina.com. For any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at framesbymarina@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Order information: when you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address, email address, and payment details necessary to fulfill and ship it. Contact information: if you reach out to us directly, we collect whatever information you choose to share. Browsing information: like most websites, we automatically collect some information about your visit, such as pages viewed and general traffic patterns, through our website platform’s built-in analytics. Cookies: our website uses cookies to operate and improve the site. You can accept, decline, or manage non-essential cookies at any time using the cookie banner or the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer.
How we use your information
We use your information to process and fulfill your orders, respond to questions and requests, understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it, and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting records. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
Who we share it with
We work with a small number of trusted service providers to run this business: Squarespace, our website host, e-commerce platform, payment processor (Squarespace Payments), and analytics provider; and Printful, our print production and fulfillment partner, who receives your name and shipping address to print and ship your order directly to you. Payment card networks also process your payment securely; we never see or store your full card details ourselves. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their role and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.
International transfers
Because we use international service providers, including Printful, which operates print facilities in multiple countries, your information may be processed outside your own country. These providers maintain their own safeguards for handling personal data.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, and we keep other information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at framesbymarina@gmail.com.
Cookies
Our site uses a cookie banner that lets you accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. Essential cookies, needed for the site and checkout to function, cannot be disabled.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The last updated date above reflects the most recent revision.
