About me

Frames by Marina is where I share the photographs I bring home from traveling — the ones I keep coming back to, long after the trip is over.

Drawn to quiet moments

I’m Marina, a French photographer. I’m not usually chasing the obvious shot — I’ll wait for a street to empty out, or double back for a doorway the light finally caught right. That’s what you’ll find across this collection: a doorway in Marseille, canal houses in Amsterdam with their window boxes spilling over with flowers, a fisherman casting his line into Varenna’s evening water. Small, specific moments more than grand ones.

Every photo here was taken on location, not staged, and edited with a light hand — I’d rather a place look like itself than look like a filter.
